About CAPS

The Centre for Afghanistan Policy Studies (CAPS) is an independent, non-partisan and not-for-profit think tank working as a centre of excellence and a network of Afghan professionals in diaspora with the aim to connect Afghanistan with knowledge and expertise. CAPS works towards strengthening democracy, rule of law, and sustainable development as well as building an inclusive Afghan society. We work as a bridge to connect Afghanistan with knowledge and expertise.

To strengthen the capacity and impact of civil society organizations in Afghanistan through enhanced networking, collaboration, and resource sharing.

Mission

CAPS is dedicated to empowering civil society institutions in Afghanistan by facilitating communication, collaboration, and capacity building, thereby enabling them to effectively address challenges and leverage development opportunities.

A vibrant and interconnected civil society in Afghanistan that actively contributes to a more equitable and sustainable future for its communities.

Purpose

CAPS is committed to empowering the youth of Afghanistan through targeted programs that enhance their skills and promote active civic engagement.
