CAPS Successfully Launches First Online Workshop on Positive Discipline

The Center of Afghanistan Policy Studies (CAPS) successfully conducted its first online workshop on positive discipline, marking an important step in its ongoing efforts to promote education, community engagement, and personal development across Afghanistan.

Led by international specialists Ms. Maria Cortes Astudill and Ms. Fatou Diallo, the workshop focused on the principles and practical applications of positive discipline. Through interactive sessions held every Monday and Wednesday, participants explored effective communication strategies and approaches for fostering healthier interpersonal relationships.

The program brought together 15 participants from different provinces of Afghanistan, creating a dynamic and diverse learning environment. Discussions centered on equipping individuals with tools to implement constructive discipline in their communities, with an emphasis on empathy, respect, and long-term behavioral development.

This initiative reflects CAPS’s commitment to providing accessible, high-quality educational programs that support both individual growth and broader community development.

CAPS extends its appreciation to the facilitators, participants, and organizing team whose contributions made this workshop a success. Further programs are planned in the coming months as CAPS continues its mission to support positive change in Afghanistan.
